This policy explains how Moonshots and Lifespan Tracker handle information. The core app is designed to work without an account or cloud profile.
1. Introduction
Moonshots, based in Berlin, Germany, publishes Lifespan Tracker. We designed the app as a local-first personal routine tracker. This website provides information about Moonshots and the app.
2. Information We Collect
Moonshots does not intentionally collect personal data through this website. The website has no registration, account creation, login form, analytics tracker, advertising network, or contact form that submits data to us.
3. Information We Do Not Collect
Through this website and the core Lifespan Tracker experience, Moonshots does not ask for or maintain server-side user profiles containing your name, email address, wellness history, habit history, mood entries, sleep entries, or routine data.
4. Website Usage
The website is a static informational site. Standard network infrastructure may necessarily process technical request information to deliver the page, but Moonshots does not add its own analytics or advertising tracking to the site.
5. Lifespan Tracker Privacy
Lifespan Tracker records the information you choose to enter so the app can display your dashboard, history, streaks, trends, achievements and summaries. Core tracking does not require an account or login.
6. Local Data
Check-ins, habits, reminder preferences and display settings are kept in local app storage on your device. Moonshots does not receive or store this locally saved wellness history on its servers.
7. Notifications
If you enable daily reminders, the app may request notification permission so reminders can be shown on your device. Reminder preferences are used locally for this purpose.
8. Third-Party Services
This website does not include third-party advertising or analytics services. When you follow an external link, such as Google Play, that external service applies its own privacy practices.
9. Google Play
Lifespan Tracker is distributed through Google Play. Google may process information related to downloading, installing, purchases (if applicable), security, and use of Google Play under Google's own terms and privacy policy. That processing is separate from Moonshots' local app storage.
10. Cookies
Moonshots does not intentionally set analytics, advertising or profiling cookies on this website. If Cloudflare or another hosting layer applies essential technical mechanisms required to deliver or protect the site, those are infrastructure-level operations rather than Moonshots advertising profiles.
11. Data Retention
Moonshots does not maintain a server-side database of your Lifespan Tracker wellness entries, so there is no server-side retention period for that local app data. Information saved by the app remains on your device according to the app's functionality and your own actions.
12. Data Deletion
Because your Lifespan Tracker data is stored locally, you control its removal on the device. Where the app provides reset or clear controls, you can use those controls to delete local records. You can also remove the app; the operating system will generally remove the app's locally stored data as part of uninstalling it. Moonshots cannot remotely delete local data it never receives.
13. Security
Keeping core wellness data local reduces the amount of personal information transmitted to Moonshots. You are responsible for the security of your device, including device access controls and operating system protections.
14. Children's Privacy
Lifespan Tracker is a general personal routine tool and is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children through an online account. Because Moonshots does not operate user accounts for the core app, it does not maintain a server-side child profile database.
15. External Links
This website may link to external services, including Google Play. Moonshots is not responsible for the content or privacy practices of third-party sites or services.
16. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy if the website, app, or applicable legal requirements change. The current version will be published on this page.
